Hey everyone! I just got accepted into the LVN program at Grayson as well. I am excited but not ready for the loads of homework coming my way. What orientation times did ya'll choose from?

Congratulations Texgal10. Try searching the post Grayson County College Fall 2010 LVN program. I got accepted for the fall 2010 program and will most likely attend the earlier session.

I am hoping to start the LVN this August...what TEAS version did you have to take to enter the program? Also, if you don't mind...what did you make on it?

lyndsey1982- Did you ever find an answer to this? What did you make on the Teas V? I was told by the program assistant that they no longer do a point system..and that the highest Teas scores were taken, along with if you have completed A&P 1&2...

I never did find an answer to this. However I took the test in April & made a 66 overall on it . I am re-taking it on June 2nd. I did AP Survey & have turned everything in, so I'm just trying to prepare for this test. I've heard that this is the 1st time that we are testing with this version. Also, it shows online that this specific version, V, has a 10% score DECREASE nationally ! I'm just really nervous about the whole thing & am constantly going over my TEAS study manual. Hopefully that helps me! Have you taken it?
I made a 68.7% I did fine on everything BUT the science, it brought my grade WAAAAAAYYY down! However, I'm not re-testing, because all of the tests are booked...so I gotta hope for the best!Let me know how your re-test goes... I wish I knew more people who applied- I wanna know average scores...
Me too! But I have no idea how many people are testing for GCC. The teacher said that we should have our letters by July 4th...so fingers crossed! I knew when I originally signed up for it, that they allow you to take it twice & take the highest of the 2 scores, so when I signed up the 1st time, I went ahead & signed up for 2 dates. A girl in my class is REALLY smart & took the LVN program in Denton a few years ago, but she had young kids & didn't finish. Anyways, she took this test twice already & made a 69 the 1st & a 62 the 2nd time! So she's in the same boat we are, just hoping for the best!! I will for sure keep you updated, do the same! Good luck :yeah:

I also did the TEAS V test at grayson, scored abut 75% in the first test and 76% the second time at a pearson vue testing center online. I hope these scores are good enough to get me in.
