Well, it's time for another application process. I don't know about y'all but I am ready to start this program! I have been reading these threads and boards for what feels like years trying to do all that I can to get in!! And I have finally reached that time.

I just turned in my application. I hope some of y'all are out there reading this. I would like to know who all is applying this year. I just wish it wouldn't take until JULY to find out if we make it in or not!! I understand why but dang! I don't want to commit to something else and then look like a flake 'when' I get my yes from Grayson! :nailbiting:

I just wanted to know where you stood on the points line and how many times you've applied OR if you are currently in the program what kind of advice you can lend and give.

Thanks!!!

I think I am going to buy them from the bookstore. I think it's about $200 cheaper if your also planning on buying the ebooks (which I love).

Congrats gijenn!!

I honestly cannot decide what to do. I really am not comfortable with e books so I don't think I'm going to go that route (despite them being the cheapest option) but I also don't like the idea of buying the bundle and it being so expensive right up front, especially because my financial aid was maxed out just paying for the classes. Are the books full price on Amazon?

Congrats

I already bought them at the bookstore, and all the ebooks that come with the set are really awesome.

That was my only worry about buying as we needed them, was did we need a code or something. Now I know we don't need one as far as JB said but no regrets for buying them all at once while I had the money.

Where was everybody sitting? I didn't have a chance to try and meet you guys after the GNSA thing cause I had to run my daughters to the airport. I was in front on the end.

I priced all of the new books on Amazon for about $720 before tax and shipping.

I figured that was you, pinkfleud!

I was sitting on the second row right in the middle...I won one of the raffles.

I heard back yesterday morning! I got in! I was pretty sure I would going into orientation but when they said the program was only accepting 40 and I looked around the room and counted the # of people I got a little nervous! I was really hoping know before we left Wednesday but atleast she got back to me quickly!

YEAH!!!!! I am so happy for you. Congratulations. :)

we must have been sitting right next to each other! i was sitting in the second row too (if you count that first full row as the front row and not the row that had 3 or 4 seats at each end). i was sitting sort of in the middle a little bit to the left (when facing the front of the classroom). there were two girls sitting to my left and and a blonde girl sitting to my right.

Yep! I bet I was the second girl to your left!

Here is a power point for math class on Friday. I thought it would be helpful for those of us that are taking the class.

Clinical Calculations - Math Class.pdf

I am not going to the math class you will have to post how it was after you go. I am going to practice on my own and hope I will do okay!

I'm sure you'll be fine, I don't know if you've had a chance to look at the power point but it's pretty helpful.

So I guess we'll just see you in class on the 24th. Enjoy whats left of the summer.
