Well, it's time for another application process. I don't know about y'all but I am ready to start this program! I have been reading these threads and boards for what feels like years trying to do all that I can to get in!! And I have finally reached that time.

I just turned in my application. I hope some of y'all are out there reading this. I would like to know who all is applying this year. I just wish it wouldn't take until JULY to find out if we make it in or not!! I understand why but dang! I don't want to commit to something else and then look like a flake 'when' I get my yes from Grayson! :nailbiting:

I just wanted to know where you stood on the points line and how many times you've applied OR if you are currently in the program what kind of advice you can lend and give.

adctx Here is the spring syllabus I found. Its only for 1523 I didn't save the others.

Well, tomorrow is orientation and I don't know about y'all but I am bringing copies of all my required documents. Just because of the fact they seem to have misplaced a lot of documentation that was turned in and disappeared. ( Like my final hep B series. And Jsweet418 missing immunizations).

Call me a nervous Nellie but dang I worked too hard to get here.

I am as well! Better to be prepared! I feel silly to say it but I am really excited for tomorrow; to hear all about what our schedules will be and meet everyone that will will be in the program! I have never actually taken classes at Grayson so it will be a whole new experience for me.

Thanks for the syllabus!!

I'm really excited about tomorrow too. I'm hoping all my questions about our schedule will be answered and what we will be doing those 8-3 days. Also, an official book list will be nice!

gijenn, I think you will like Grayson. It is a very small campus so parking is never an issue. Things are usually clean and nice around campus. Most staff are really nice too.

I'm bringing all my docs tomorrow too. I still need to print my pic out. Is everyone bringing the $100 for the clinicals kit?

Oh thanks for the reminder on the pic! I totally forgot about that! I'm going to bring my debit card just incase we need to buy it tomorrow! Unless it's cash/check only then I need to go hit the bank!

I think I will like the campus also! I've been out there a handful of times to drop various things off and the staff has been SO NICE each time.

Jenn, It says in the letter that I got that we have to buy the kit tomorrow

and it's $100 cash or check only.

And I'm soo pumped for tomorrow, it's cool that tomorrow I get to meet people I'm going to be seeing on an almost regular basis for the next couple of years.

I have been talking/posting to some of you for months and am looking forward to meet you.

It's funny but the road ahead of us will be long and difficult, but dang i feel like I'm getting ready to leave on vacation.

I heard back yesterday morning! I got in! I was pretty sure I would going into orientation but when they said the program was only accepting 40 and I looked around the room and counted the # of people I got a little nervous! I was really hoping know before we left Wednesday but atleast she got back to me quickly!

Are you guys buying books from they bookstore? I'm thinking about buying them on Amazon as we need them.
