Well, it's time for another application process. I don't know about y'all but I am ready to start this program! I have been reading these threads and boards for what feels like years trying to do all that I can to get in!! And I have finally reached that time.
I just turned in my application. I hope some of y'all are out there reading this. I would like to know who all is applying this year. I just wish it wouldn't take until JULY to find out if we make it in or not!! I understand why but dang! I don't want to commit to something else and then look like a flake 'when' I get my yes from Grayson!
I just wanted to know where you stood on the points line and how many times you've applied OR if you are currently in the program what kind of advice you can lend and give.
I agree it is easy to miss something! I was under the impression that before orientation the only thing we (the waitlisted people) needed to get to her was a signed copy of the form saying we do want to be on the wait list. When I spoke to her yesterday she said we had to have the TB and CPR certification by orientation; thank goodness I brought it up with her I would have been so upset if I didn't get in because of some technicality with paperwork! At this point just to be safe I am going to bring everything with me to orientation! Do we have to take the CPR class at Grayson or can be take it through a different facility as long as we take the proper one?
I was denied acceptance into the nursing program at Grayson even though I met the points requirements with 23 points (the cutoff was 22). I was denied admission because they said my file did not contain complete immunization records. The thing of it is, however, is that I turned in all required immunizations. They were just not added to my file. Thankfully I keep up with my own records and had proof that I had turned in my immunization. I met with Ms. Barnes, the program director, yesterday and was put number 1 on the waiting list because of my point total. She apologized for the mistake, I should have gotten accepted, but stuff happens. All I am waiting for now is someone to turn down their acceptance to Grayson so my spot will be available :-). Congrats to all of you who were accepted for Fall 2015. I hope to be fully accepted soon. See you at Orientation on July 29.
The college bookstore website. All the books are bundled together under one class but I can't remember which one...its one of the three classes we'll be taking this semester. 1523 maybe?

Yes that's the one. They didn't have any open spots when I tried to apply, but CH told me they are adding more spots for us next week.
I'm assuming you're talking about the course at Grayson CWL.
