grasyon county nursing program

Is there any current Grayson County College students who started the nursing program in spring of 09. Or any students of Grasyon who plan on applying for the fall 09 nursing program. I have finished all my classes and just finished taking the Hesi a few weeks ago I did very well on the Hesi I made an overall score of 91 and yet I still dont think that is high enough(yes, I worry way to much). I was wondering if anybody knows how many points you need to have a good shot at getting in? I'm so worried I dont have enough... Does anybody have any advice the waiting is so stressful!!:uhoh3:

I had 27 pts when I applied and was accepted. I have heard in the past that they have taken as low as 22, but not sure how true that is. Hope that helps. Your Hesi grade will help you a lot. If you made A's in all of your pre-req sciences, then you should be good. :)

Well I have 27 points. I made A's and B's on all my pre-req and an A on my hesi. I was so worried with all the applicants in DFW applying that they would have alot of students with 30 points! I should know if I am in or not by June

Have you finished the program yet? If so how was your experience? Is there any points that I should know as far as dos and donts of the program.

I actually started in Fall '08, so I'll graduate in May of 2010. Good luck to you!! :)

i started the program!! im loving it we have just finished up with test 3. and i had my first day of clinicals on saturday. yep we now have friday and saturday clinicals i acually prefered those days because after sat. i dont have class again til wednesday which is always our test days so i get lots of studyn done!!! i have to say we test like crazy lol....we have them ecery other wednesday!!
