You could try setting up a Donor's Choose page! It's essentially a GoFundMe for education, but has some pretty huge philanthropic backers (think the Gates Foundation, etc.) It says it is just for teachers, but I wrote to them and they absolutely accept school health services projects. The most successful projects at my school are shared frequently on social media; They often have promotions where donations are matched by a bigger backer, up to a certain amount.
I am in a pretty rural area as well. Last year due to virtual students we were able to us COVID funded money to purchase new hearing equipment. We can now do testing on virtual students outside of the school setting if need be.
We also partnered a couple years ago with our local Lions club to purchase a new pulsoptix vision screener for our district.

I work for three small (125-205) K-12 schools. Does anyone know of a grant or where I should look to buy some larger pieces of equipment? I'd love to have an audiometer at all the schools--currently we borrow from one school for the others and it makes it difficult to get all the vision/hearing screenings done everywhere quickly. It has been on the "wish list" for two years now and I would love to look at some other avenues.
