Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
Today I logged on to the GCU website and I noticed a two and a half month lull between my first and second class. I like to think this is an easy fix, if I'm off track, someone please put me back on the right path. This is not conducive to my plan of finishing in 14 months. or less.
You will have a two week break around Xmas time, so there is a bit of lull there. Otherwise I echo Prism, it's an oversight, IMO
I think one of the reasons I H8 them so much is because it's a crap-shoot every time (who you'll get), and you really have no time ( Just once, once please, I'd like to be the person that does 3 slides and turns them in to someone I can trust and just be done with my piece and go have a dang weekend!Okay, I'm done.
I'm so glad I'm done with these! Another peeve is being the editor, needing advice from others, and you hear crickets. Or..they all say it looks GREAT, and you know they didn't read what you sent, because if they had, they would have noticed the error made and they did not.

Are you going to double up at some point?
You cannot use random websites for research unless they are evidenced based like ANA, and AACN, AMSN, nursing center for theory. Your books are great and I'm SO HAPPY I highlighted as I read. I have gone back and quickly found pieces I need for fillers, simply by clicking on highlights. :) I find myself bouncing around in the research book the most, but am pulling bits and pieces out of others.
Tokmom,
how did you go and "highlight" your readings? did you download each book as you went along and then highlight or did you print each book? or maybe another way?
Oh, and those pesky dq's too.

Left click on hold on the reading just like you would highlight normal stuff anywhere else. Once you are done a box will pop up and give you the option to copy/save. This is all online, btw
Welll, I just turned in homework #3 for week one. A nice 8 pager, within the word count, worth an earth shattering 40 points. Now let us say some prayers since I have 3 works out and no idea how this professor grades.
I like this icon, btw. I think I will just stay in the bag for the next 4 weeks. It's safer in here, lol.

Awesome, didn't want to have a knee-jerk reaction, but at first glance my first thought was, "What The Fundus"
But I knew that a logical answer had to exist. Thanks for the heads up.
