Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
So jealous!! I am in week 4 of Leadership and Trends. Then just Patho and the Capstone left. Congratulations on almost being done!!
How is the doubling up? Will you double for Patho and Capstone or are those singular?
I'm happy to have that break. I think I need one before I venture into the mega-paper.
Patho and Capstone will be singles. Capstone has to be done last and alone. Which is probably for the best that I do them both as singles. I am sure there will be a lot of homework to complete for the two classes. Otherwise, right now it isn't so bad. It get's stressful with all the homework, but I am managing to get it all done and still have A's in both classes.
Hello, I have read all the post of this thread over the last three days and while I was pretty convinced GCU was the school for me, reading about your varied journeys really has inspired me. I graduated in Feb, took my boards on 27 Mar and received my officially results the next day. Immediately I applied to GCU and applied for a 7 Apr start date. However after reading this thread I'm hoping that by selecting 28 Apr, my transcripts will have been reviewed and that I only need the 12.classes.
Good luck to all who are nearing completion as well as those just beginning, I look forward to reading more and hopefully posting something helpful to those who may follow me as your comments have been helpful to me.

Hello Murse2013PMI, CONGRATULATIONS on Grad and Boards!! And Welcome! Yowza, you are not giving yourself even a mini vacation before jumping right back in? Can't say I blame you, I took waaaay too much time in between degrees , the experience was good for me but if I had to do it all over again, I would do exactly what you are doing. Jump on board, the more the merrier, this is one wild ride and I've absolutely benefited from things I've read on the various GCU threads on AN (although this one is the best LOL ). I started stalking tokmom back when she was searching for excel tutorials and polling anyone and everyone about "just how BAD is Stats anyway???"
And look where she is now...8 weeks away from the big day! Honestly, these threads helped me to decide on GCU, too, and aside from the occasional CLC from hell (which you've no doubt read about), I'm so glad I did.
Welcome in, get comfy, and tell your family you'll see them sometime in 2015...

Flames, what class now?
Well, you lucky people to not have received the lovely emails! I would make sure you are on the email list though for graduation and other fun things, lol.
Personally for me, I want to feel good about my degree and know that I earned that sucker, so I'm another person that would not copy and paste or pay for a paper. I honestly don't know how people can do that and feel good about themselves.
