Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
TokI am in a Masters/Doctorate program at Frontier Nursing University. Applied during my last class with GCU. Finished GCU Jan 1, 2016, started FNU April 1.
Hope that helps. :)

How is this program put together compared to GCU? I think about it every once in awhile.
Classes are 11 wks in length with a 2 wk break between terms. Can take 2-3 classes/term. Testing is online. Some classes I have had open book, some are closed and proctored/recorded.
There are written, as well as recorded "lectures" and depending on the class there are live lectures (which are recorded if you can't make it). The required reading is put together in modules - you know what modules you are working on each week, so know what reading is expected.
Depending on the class, there are papers to be written. This term I have pharmacology and physical assessment. No papers on pharm. Had a couple of 'papers' in physical assessment, but they were chart ready notes, so the only part that was strictly APA was the references. Of course the obligatory group project in some classes.
They are serious about the honor code at FNU. Heard last term there was someone they confirmed violated the honor code – she was dismissed from the program in her last term.
They have a different online system. Seemed confusing at first to get used to, but not bad now that I know it. I like the discussion threads GCU has better than the Canvas program that FNU uses - easier to follow.
Overall... I am glad I made the decision to follow my dream. I really did not have the confidence I would be accepted when I applied. My dream school for over 25 years.....*pinch*

And I should not have used the word "just"... not even sure I can do that.
