Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
Guess who didn't sleep last night? Guess who just turned their capstone in?
It's me for both questions!!!!
Yay!!!!! I'm both exhausted and wired (coffee :) ). I'm very very happy. I just have to get my charge nurse to review it, and I send in that paper. Even if I do really bad on the project, I think I will still pass the class and at this point that is allllll i'm worried about.
5 more weeks and I will be able to wear my fancy new BSN pin. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
WHERE THE HECK IS EVERYBODY??I just turned it in, I need some emotional support!

Congratulations!!!! It is exciting to see people that you know finally be done with the program!! I am 6+ months behind you but I will be there soon.
Try to relax and get some rest, I bet you are just buzzing!!!!
I WISH on the Vino, I was actually sleeping! Well, if you count waking up every hour to hit refresh and see if she graded me yet as sleepingâ€. Plus I had to figure out how to get into my GCU email, I haven't used that, like, ever, and I remember her saying something about if she needed to send your paper back to you for revisions of screw-ups she'd email us. So far nothing yet, which is both good and bad.
I could cry for you Beauty, I'm so sorry! As most of us here, it happened to me once at 10pm on a Sunday… I had taken a short break to eat some cold pizza and when I came back the whole thing had shut down and restarted for some stupid automatic update! Nothing was there, zippo, nada, empty, blank Word doc. Like you, I sat there and cried like a baby. After redoing the whole thing in 2 hours (probably the most craptastic paper I ever wrote), I changed my Word to auto-save Q3 minutes as I type. And just when you think it can't happen during the world's most important paper, yesterday as I was cutting/pasting/culling/rearranging my final Cap, the whole screen went BLACK right before my very eyes. I then realized it was unplugged and the battery had died! NOOOOoooo!!!! I plugged it in and had to wait an excruciating 5 minutes before it came back, but it opened up right where I had left off – Thank You Gateway Laptop Gods! (I now know they exist).
Hi all I think I posted something similar on another page, but I am transferring my 15 year old Intro to Research in to GCU. Do any of you think you could have written your Capstone paper without it. Essentially I have forgotten it at this point... tomorrow is my first day back Prof Dynamics. .
