Grand Canyon RN-BSN

Nursing Students Online Learning

Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?

Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?

Hi all,

So I am starting community health this week and am trying to get a head start on the week 5 project. I just left a message with my son's school nurse about getting her on board for something about head lice or maybe sending sick kids to school, as in when to keep them home. Or maybe something about vaccinations, and how kids who are not vaccinated effect the community. I am hoping for some feedback from those of you have have already done this project. Am I even on the right track here?

I did mine just before flu season so I made a trifold board for my presentation along with handouts on flu prevention and went to an assisted living facility and did a teaching session.

Started piecing together my FINAL assignment for my BSN. WOOHOO. I can't wait. As I'm finishing up others who started a different program before I started are still taking various religion classes or whatnot that their chosen school requires. If I had to choose again I would go with GCU. I've heard several times how the others are jealous I'm about done. All the schools have the same accredidation too so that's not an issue. 1 1/2 weeks and I'm a graduate. yay

You soon will be an alumni, please stay on board for HELP!

Sorry, I don't think any of us know what that is (see page 228 of this thread where we all had no clue) :bag:

yep, seems to be a new thing..and I think only worth 10 points...I found that out after I search and searched..on behalf of another, lol 10 points, jeez, lol When in doubt, contact the prof or the Librarian.

It really is a ridiculous assignment. Another one with vague instructions and the information needed for the assignment is not in the reading material. And yes, it is only worth 10 points.

I emailed the Librarian about it, and she did send me info.....which I deleted...so if the prof won't help you, chat with the Librarian

I went ahead and messaged both the Prof and a Librarian. Too much work for 10 points!

Western Governors may not require those extra classes?? Some say it is much cheaper as I think you pay so much a semester, 3 classes or 1, it is the same price, but don't quote me on that

Be glad ur not going to the University of Pheoenix, guess they are having some financial issues.....had not heard many good things about that program!!

I know some folk, and they needed biochemistry, and nutrition.

but I think u can finish pretty quickly as you can take quite a few at 1 time.....and the price is cheaper if u do take more classes..........

True that. I don't understand how a person can take a class in 1 day. That boggles my mind.
