Grand Canyon RN-BSN

Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?

Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?

I'm sure we will probably get to that one too Prism! Who can know what else I will see, it is making it interesting but it keeps making me shake my head, I'm not kidding. My husband keeps saying don't touch that one, or that one, leave that one alone too missy! Ha!

I'm so upset with myself right now. I was called in to work on sat and sun. And I totally forgot I had 2 more DQ replies to post for one day to complete my participation. I even had it saved in my computer so I could just copy and paste....for nothing. Just left in there. I just realized when I saw my participation points 10/20.

I have been so swamped just making sure I understand and can follow along with this Capstone class. It's pretty intense. Every day I feel like I'm on the verge of a headache. I'm pretty sure I hate this class.

How's everyone else doing in their classes?

If I'm understanding this correctly, and if you posted it a day late, wouldn't it only be a few points taken off? If we have to respond to 6 classmate's post and you did 4, it's not fair to take off half the participation points.

I agree wtih proud nurse, 50% seems harsh, sounds like you had 4 of the necessary 6, so why wasn't only 33% taken off? I know it's only 3 more points, but hey these days I'm counting every point in case some CLC tries to tank me. I feel bad for you though, I have had one of those :brnfrt: 's myself. I spaced my replies thinking I could do 2 Fri, 2 Sat and 2 Sun. Well that would have worked out if I had actually DONE it, but I found myself sitting here typing on AN one Friday night and looked at the clock and it said 12:02 - which meant it's now Saturday, and I only had 2 days left. I was so mad at myself! But, I went totally cuckoo from then on out and posted like 15 replies all throughout the next 2 days, and I still got all my points LOL. I think she just looked at the sheer volume and said "Jeez, here, have 40 points you whacko" :laugh:
