I would suggest a search of the site, checking out the regional forums or the new grad forums if you don't get much of a response here.
Jobs have become a pretty hot topic as of late so there may be some answers around. Otherwise there is just the classic online/newspaper/local hospital hiring boards!
Good luck!!

Samaritan Hosp in Albany, NY is hiring. You'll only make about 22 and hour though.
Hi everyone! I'll be graduating in four weeks with my associate's degree in nursing. I currently live in New Jersey so I understand finding a new-grad job is probably a joke. I'm wondering if anyone knows where new-grad's are being hired because I'm willing to relocate anywhere to get the experience and work on any unit (even the less-desirable ones)! I just want to get my nursing career started but I also know that I really need to acquire some "real" nursing skills, judgement, etc. I know the shock of "reality" is really going to hit me when I'm out of school, but I'm actually looking forward to it. Like I said, I just really want to find anywhere to work to start learning how to be a "real" nurse. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!Thanks so much!!

Hello, Jersey over here as well!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_hospitals_in_New_Jersey websites for New Jersey hospitals.
My first new grad job was in Reno Nevada. The starting pay is about 29 dollars per hour. Good luck
I was actually going to say the same thing - Intra-aortic and I worked at the same hospital in Reno and unless things have changed, they still hire new grads - they recently had a huge expansion in late 2007. I know of some new grads from out of state that received relocation assistance in exchange for 18 months of service. Look into it - it's the larger of the hospitals in town.
