Graduating from 'Pre-Nursing' Student Forum!

I just wanted to share with everyone (as it is tradition), that I have finally been accepted to Nursing School. I am a career changer and I've always wanted to be in the medical field, and now I'm officially on my way. I got into an Accelerated BSN program for the Spring semester. Even though starting January, I'll be an official NS (no more pre-), I promise to visit this forum and give some advice to the next generation of pre-nursing students.

I can't wait to see a lot more of you guys/gals over in the 'Nursing Student' forum. Nice to start my weekend with a big smile. :)

I progressed on this site from pre-pre-nursing (thinking about nursing, not yet taking pre-reqs) to pre-nursing, then nursing school, and finally grad nurse/first year post licensure forums. Haven't found a job yet so I don't know in which specialty forum I"ll finally find a home!

You certainly made me smile. This is why I made this thread, and why I've chronicled my career change to nursing on my profile. I want my final home to be the Advance Practice Nursing forum, more specially the Nurse Practitioner forum. I already picked out a username to change to that sums up my journey when I get there. :lol2:

I just got my package info today about uniform, book list, orientation, etc. I have homework due before school begins, LOL! It's all sinking in now.

I am seat number 31, what is your seat number? Last night I was sooooo excited. Today it is really sinking in. It is finally here. It is going to be hard work and long hours. I am up for the challenge, how about you?:clown:

Congrats everybody! :yeah: I can't wait until I finish my preqs....seems like a decade....but it's all worth it. The next time I post on here....I will have GOOD NEWS TOO.:cheers:
