Yes, we all know you move through your coursework at the lightning fast pace of Speedy Gonzales, lol.I'd have to stay under 6 units a semester to keep the in-state tuition rates and ya know that's just not going to work for me :) :) ..
I'm okay with only 6 credits a semester because I am seriously considering enrolling in Patten University's MBA program simultaneously. However, I am just entertaining the thought of an MBA/MSN combo right now and nothing's set in stone.
Congratulations!I was accepted into the University of South Alabama for the MSN to DNP adding adult geriatric nurse practitioner program. I was also accepted into the University of Alabama for the Doctor of Education for Nurse Educators. I chose the EdD program due to my long term goals.
I graduated from WGU with my MSN degree in 2013. I start University of South Alabama's Executive DNP program this fall. Before definitively settling on USA, I had also been officially accepted into Touro's DNP program and had preliminary acceptance into University of Alabama's DNP program. I've encountered zero road blocks with my WGU degree.

A frequently asked question on this forum is, "Will other schools accept a degree from WGU?" Multiple of our very own Allnurses.com members, such as meanmaryjean and Murse901, have posted their experiences on being accepted into graduate and/or doctoral degree programs after having attended WGU.
I earned an online BSN degree from WGU in March 2015. A few days ago I received conditional acceptance into the MSN degree program at Eastern New Mexico University. I am due to start graduate studies in nursing education this fall.
While some schools will not consider WGU graduates due to the pass/fail competency-based grading, many others will accept us with open arms. So, the answer to "Will other schools accept a WGU degree?" is "Many of them will." Your mileage may vary.
Good luck to everyone!
