GPC Students - how was your semester?

Hi studentque,

I'm thinking about aplying to North Georgia College. I heard that their program is awsome!!! I'm going to do my best this summer at GPC, but I also want to work on my admissions go NGCSU you know just in case;) I just want to be ready.

22 people are being pinned tomorrow night.....Thankfully I am one of them!!!

(8 from Lville and 14 from Clarkston)

The LINK classs was not offered to me so hopefully someone else can address that question.....

Thanks for answering...bomber....I am waiting on a letter for the fall semester, but not I am afraid. Do you think that they are going to improve the program.

Yeah, I heard the same. And one of the campuses is literally 2miles from my house. Their med-surg sem is only in the spring, I think. I have looked into other options as well, just in case.

Hey everyone im a pre nursing student at gpc in clarkston. And I was wondering if anyone had time to be a mentor to me? I really would like the chance to speak to someone who has finished,and could give me any infomation about the gpc nurisng program and being a nurse in general.If not interested I understand and thank you for your time.

i am waiting on my acceptance letter for the fall '06 semester and was starting to hope it did not come....but am feeling better. i think i will do well as i am older (42) and know that this is what i really want to do.

i do not want to sound negative or anything but the vast majority of people in this program are "older".....and that does not seem to help them. many many many many many many many (okay i guess you all get my drift) of the people that have failed out of this program were "older and knew that nursing is really what they wanted to do".....just a word of caution...like i said i am not trying to be negative......sorry if it comes off that way!

Yes, I guess you have a point. I will be sure to check my over confidence at the door and keep that in mind. Congratulations on graduating, you must not be one of the younger students.
