GPC Students - how was your semester?

U.S.A. Georgia

Hey,

Just wanted to see how everyone's semester went at GPC. Just finished my 3rd and rolling into the 4th, thank Goodness!

I moved recently and just got my acceptance letter today. I am torn about whether or not to accept. It is either this or the "go to LPN school and then bridge to RN" route, but I have heard so many bad things about GPC that it scares me. What to do, what to do??

Give it a try. the bridge to RN is almost the same work, so I don't see a point in doing that. I just started my second semester and no, I'm not happy at GPC. I'm going to apply to North Georgia, but only just in case I get kicked out. I'm not giving up yet (although I have a bad day every once a while and think about dropping). It's better to try and fail than not to try at all

That is what I am afraid of - failing out of GPC's program - especially since I still have to work to support myself. I have a much better chance of making it through an LPN program and then bridging to an RN.

How has the first two weeks been for you...do you feel less worried than 1st sem? Oh & how do you think the 1st exam was? It is so much work in such a short time! Have you applied to NGCSU yet? & if you had, are they making you take the TEAS since you will be a transf student from a NSG program?

I'm actually way more worried than the first semester. I hate going in the summer. My days are so busy!!! I don't even have enough time to sleep!!!

I'm about to apply to NGSCU, but I have to take the TOEFL test first and I just can't find the time to do it.
