I am so with you guys...the waiting is killing me.... I got both the email and the letter. My TEAS was an 82, I've got a 4.0 math and science and a 3.56 for general education and I've been in a panic. Reading all of the scores and GPA's has just confused me since it doesn't seem like there is any way to predict who is getting in.

Good luck to the lot of us...hopefully they will put us out of our misery soon!

Your scores look wonderful, and you are right GPC has somewhat a weird acceptance system, lol. They really look at if you have repeated any classes. So for instance if there is someone with a 4.0 but has repeated micro three times -vs- someone with a 3.7 that only took each class once. They will take the 3.7, at least that is what I understood from the nurse seminar. Hope this helps and yes the waiting is painful!

Thanks Adorable! I'm very proud of you for getting in...I just in fact re-read all of your posts in the other forum...you had great scores and a great GPA! I got an A in both A & P 1 and 2 at Gwinnett Tech and am set to take my Micro this fall, the only really bad grade that I have was over 20 years ago and that was Poly Sci....that is what pulled my Gen Ed GPA down...it was a D...

Keep in touch with me, I'm so excited for you and want to hear all about it! And when (not if(pray!)) I get in for Spring, we'll be graduating together! :) Yea!

Hey kiki, I think you will be fine. I wouldnt worry to much about that Poly sci grade from 20 yrs ago. Thats not a class that GPC requires, so I wouldnt think they would even look at that.

And yes the wait is terriable, isnt it?:uhoh3:

I wish you the best with getting in

Thanks Moving and Adorable!!! I appreciate the boost...it's much needed and I hope you both are very right! :) Luckily when(not if(pray)) I do get in I have to take Micro and the other Gen Ed classes for GPC so I'll be too busy to stress out the waiting game for Nursing school to start!

See ya in "2012"! Fingers and toes crossed!

For ADN applicants, political science is listed as a course that is included in your general education GPA. However, since it was taken so long ago they might take that into consideration.

I have a C in American History from 1997 that's become the bane of my existence. Thankfully the rest of my pre-req grades are high enough to counteract some of the damage done. It's super frustrating because if I took that class today it would be really enjoyable; however, at 18 years old I couldn't have cared less. lol

Have you heard back yet? I replied with my choices but didn't hear anything today. Maybe Monday. :)

Hey Caleb'smom! I choose August 2nd between the hours of 2-3pm. I wonder how do they decide the interviews? Do they interview everyone that applied do you know?

I didnt hear anything back today either, so maybe Monday.
