GPC Spring 2012

Published

Okay lets get it started all who applied to GPC 2012 come on in.

Ugghh. I told myself I wouldn't think about it, but I've been checking the forum and my email every day like something's gonna magically appear. I hate this waiting!!

Me too! I know, without question, that no decisions will be made until at least late July and yet I continue to think something may just show up.

I'm driving myself crazy. I go back and forth between "I totally got in" and "omg I'm not going to get in. How are we going to pay for Mercer?!!". I need a vacation, lol.

That's the same thing I'm dealing with.... How am I going to pay for Darton if I take my last 2 perqs at GPC but get accepted to Darton for the fall and not GPC for the Spring....

I'm so stressed!

Did y'all get letters in the mail and mails?

Oops ment to say or emails

I think they sent out a general email after you took the TEAS (if you at least made profcient) telling you that you met the min. requirements and what classes to have completed before the start of the program.

Then after I recieved that email Monday, Wenesday I recieved a letter in the mail saying I met the min requirements and was being considered for the program and that acceptance/denial letters go out by September 30th.

Again this are general letters that go out to everyone that met the min. requirments. Haven't you recieved anything like that yet? If not maybe its bc you all really have all of your preqs done?

(FYI) Oh yeah I know for a fact they are done testing for the Spring 2012 program

Yep. An email telling me I need a comm class and a Rsch class. Ugh. Then a letter saying I've met minimum requirements and not to bother them about my acceptance lol.

I have not received email only letter. Did they use school email'

I haven't even delved into my school email. I'm not sure what my email address is lol. It was sent to the email address I used on my application; my personal email address.

Is there an interview process at GPC to get into their program? and if so do you guys know when they will let us know if we made it to that step or not?

No interview. The committee meets either in late July or early August and makes their decisions.

I work with an LPN in the bridge program currently this year. They did interviews last year around the end of July/first of august. They found out by late august/early September if they were accepted or not.

Oooh you're doing the bridge program. Yeah I don't know anything about that. For non-bridge ADN there's no interview. My bad.
