Published

Okay lets get it started all who applied to GPC 2012 come on in.

Fruizy1113.....its thursday and i still have not heard anything!! :(

Thanks I'll download the coupon and do it too!

rawfoodnurse, I got my photo taken at CVS (download $2.00 coupon @ cvsphoto.com) $7.99 with coupon.

Oh I see you get two photos for 7.99 with coupon--thanks again!

Smiths2n , I didn't get in.

:( you got a letter?

yes, it came in the mail today

Mine came on Saturday--don;t be discouraged. I think they have until Sept 30th to send them out.

Hi rawfoodnurse, yes there is a tone of things we have to do, But I'm soooo excited and cant wait to start our journey to becoming an RN. I worked so hard to get to this point as we all have!

I have already submitted: the acceptance application, paid the fee, did the passport photo and the online survery. I schduled my physical for the middle of November.

I'm going to schedule my physical for the same time. I don't think I've had a physical. I have images of them calculating my heart rate while I jog on a treadmill...hmmmm

Thanks for the heads up on the coupon! I decided to go to GPC simply because it's a really fantastic program and is significantly less expensive than some of the others, but all of these expenses, even before we start, will REALLY pile up.

I agree, lots of $$$. Christmas is just around the corner, books and uniforms with a bow on top!!

Kiki that's CRAZY. I have a 3.45 GE and an 88.7 on the TEAS. I'm not sure what my math/science was but I had 3 As and 1 B. It was my first TEAS attempt and I have no repeated courses and previous Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Maybe that helped me? But I'm not even sure if my Master's even showed up on my record during panel deliberation because GPC has no graduate level courses so, of course, none of them transferred. It must just come down to numbers on a spreadsheet or something.

I honestly wasn't expecting to get in. I assumed I would just have to throw my hat into the ring again for Fall admittance.

Did you re-take courses? Was that your first TEAS score? If I were you I would give the department a little time to calm down after the rush and see if I could meet with somebody to find out what area of my application I could work on. Are you going to ask that your application be rolled over to the Fall?

I'm so sorry kiki. If I were you I would defiantly call and ask what are they looking for. I bet you will get in for the fall! I wish you the best.
