GPC Spring 2012

Published

Okay lets get it started all who applied to GPC 2012 come on in.

You got an 80 on the TEAS an u didnt get in? that is reallyyyyyyyyyyy gud!! i thought that will definately raise ur chances of getting in cause that is really gud!!

yeah but my GE gpa is a 3.0! Sciences are high but GE is too low. That is what I am fighting....they look more at GPA than TEAS.

ooooo I did'nt know they look at GPA more than TEAS!....Hmmmm ok i see! Maybe thats why i heard people that have gotten in got 69% etc on their TEAS but others wh scored like 70's range and apparenty 80%(which is really good) did not get in!!!WAW!!! ....i wonder if anyone who got there acceptance letters got in their 60's got in cause thats my range!!

Oh I know someone who had a 67 and got in in the Fall. I am sure there are some who had it for Spring.....you may still get a letter for Spring, it is not over yet!!!

I think you guys may have a point but I cant totally confirm. I can only speak for myself. I indeed scored a 67.8 I think on the Teas but my GPA is 3.81 with no repeats or withdrawals ever. So I think they do focus more on your GPA and track record as a student. I think as long as your score at least proficient on the Teas your ok.

Hope this helps

I got a package on Saturday (9/3/11) saying I've been accepted into the GPC program for the Spring semester. What a relief! I want to get a BSN, but I guess I can bridge over after I become an RN. There is a lot of things to do like get a passport photo, take an online survey, get a physical...but I'm starting on it all.

Hi rawfoodnurse, yes there is a tone of things we have to do, But I'm soooo excited and cant wait to start our journey to becoming an RN. I worked so hard to get to this point as we all have!

I have already submitted: the acceptance application, paid the fee, did the passport photo and the online survery. I schduled my physical for the middle of November.

keepmovinglpn, where did you get your passport photo taken?

smiths2n nothing came in the mail today....I'm beginning to calm down about it now. It's Wednesday. Still keeping fingers crossed though.

I went to Walgreens and the cost $10.00 I think.

rawfoodnurse, I got my photo taken at CVS (download $2.00 coupon @ cvsphoto.com) $7.99 with coupon.

Thanks for the heads up on the coupon! I decided to go to GPC simply because it's a really fantastic program and is significantly less expensive than some of the others, but all of these expenses, even before we start, will REALLY pile up.
