Here is a place that we could start discussing the next part of our journey in nursing school.

Has anyone read the book they suggested in our acceptance letters? I bought it off amazon and I am excited to read it!!!

Thank you so much! I will be applying. Should I put you down as a reference or will you just speak with someone after I apply?

Let's do both!

Good Luck Everyone! I am in my last semester at GPC and it has been a great journey! It is very doable with family/kids. I noticed someone mentioned taking a CNA class over the summer, and I can say that really helped me when I started GPC. I was not stressed out with check-off's and it helped with some of the anxiety while waiting for Fall semester to start & made clinical easier, too. Also, make sure you have a good grasp on the content each test/semester because if there is anything you struggle with and don't master, it will come back to haunt you in your last semester. The teachers there are great and want you to succeed and there are a lot of resources to assist you along the way! I hope I have eased some of your anxiety and wish you all the best of luck!!!

Thank you so much for your post! It is so encouraging and it really just makes me even more excited to get started at GPC.

I can't wait until we get more information on what our schedules are going to look like.

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I just wanted to say thank you to kjewel36 for starting this thread, and a big hello to all of my fellow classmates! I'm so excited to meet and get to know everyone over the course of the next few semesters at GPC!!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience ! It definitely helps to ease my fears :) congrats on almost being a GPC grad. Well done!

Has anyone submitted their form yet along with the passport photo and payment receipt? I'm going to the Clarkston campus this Tuesday to submit everything.

I mailed my stuff in about a week and a half ago.

Welcome AAuld!

Welcome Aauld! Glad your here!

Yes, I mailed my stuff about 3 weeks ago :-) ..... Right after I got letter.... I was eager :-)

I went last Friday and submitted everything. I had to do some type of advisement planning with Mrs. Creel and get that submitted to the financial aid department as well. What a pain that was!

Kjewel36, I went to the website and I don't see anything about 6south or 6north.. What city should I apply for? I see a lot of opened positions for Hiram and Dallas.

Welcome AAuld!
