Who's applied to GPC for the fall?
@Zebra...thank you so much! I looked online and it says exactly what you said it should (mine actually says nursing too). I also logged on to the Federal Loan Website and it says exactly what you are saying. I think the lady from finaid who emailed me was mistaken when she said I would only receive half. OKAY...so maybe I can sleep now! LOL! See you all on Thursday!!!
How did the sizes on the uniforms go? I usually wear 8, sometimes 6. I think of myself as medium, and if things are sized s-m-l that's what I usually take, but the size chart says I am on the border between small and xtra-small! I find that hard to believe. do they seem to run large or small?
Hey guys - I thought the same with the uniform - the pants run pretty large and I got a small. I am usually probably a six, and they were plenty big. The top I got a small too, and it feels very fitted, and I have no chest at all, so I think the top runs smaller than the pants, but that's just me.
For the flu shot what did everyone end up doing?? I have not sent in my form, I was just going to bring it in tomorrow - hope that's ok!! But I never got a flu shot as everywhere I went they all said it is not available at all. But am nervous about not having it.
hi guys! i just wanted to drop in to see how you all are doing and to see if any of you have any questions going into your 1st semester next month?
i havent been on here at all in the past 2 month bc of the "suicide summer semester" i was in lol! this just means that we took ob, peds, and pysch all this summer. we took our last final today and im happy to say i passed all 3 classes this summer. it was the hardest thing i have even done in my life, seriously. im happy its over with and next month is my perceptorship next month!
i have about a month off from school now, so ask about anything you all have question about. i know how excited and nervous you all must be
I can't wait either! I am nervous/excited about tomorrow! I do not know my way around campus and not too sure where the CH building is, but I know it is not at the nursing campus.
@mg100...when I was there last week (to visit the much loved financial aid) I stopped by the nursing campus to ask the question about the flu shot. I was told to bring the medical form in to orientation, and to leave the flu shot line blank and they will give us further direction then about the flu shots.
***Hey Guys***don't forget to bring a copy of your CPR card or they will put a hold on your account!!!

Also...regarding the attempted hours cap:
I had to pay this summer for a class I had to have. Then, the nursing department sent over a list of people in the program to administration to change over the majors to nursing. As soon as the major is made "nursing", then financial aid can proceed. I have already emailed them to let them know my file in SIS says nursing. They are proceeding with my file. They did call me after I left a message for them (admin) to let me know when the majors would be turned into nursing. She said it would take about two weeks and that was about two weeks ago...check SIS for those in question under student info. Should say "associates in nursing" or something like that. Don't know why an appeal is necessary though...
