Also...regarding the attempted hours cap: I had to pay this summer for a class I had to have. Then, the nursing department sent over a list of people in the program to administration to change over the majors to nursing. As soon as the major is made "nursing", then financial aid can proceed. I have already emailed them to let them know my file in SIS says nursing. They are proceeding with my file. They did call me after I left a message for them (admin) to let me know when the majors would be turned into nursing. She said it would take about two weeks and that was about two weeks ago...check SIS for those in question under student info. Should say "associates in nursing" or something like that. Don't know why an appeal is necessary though...

Pell= prorated amount depending on hours. Student Loan=need to be attending at least half time (6) hours in order to receive. There is a place you can look that up about your student loans. Look around in the financial aid section. You should get the full amount you are approved for as long as you attend at least half time. That's what it says.
