thanks i'm just plugging away did H&S and got an A, working on A&P now (hope to take it the end of this month, and then doing transitions in July, i've planned out taking one per month, and if for some reason i need longer so be it, need less time so be it too...better to pass and get through then to mess up! =)

Hang in there and take it one class at a time, don't keep on looking at the total picture quite yet, it gets to be very overwhelming and a felling of impossibility overcomes you. My unofficial list was the same as yours, and now all I have left (other than the Repro CLEP Test in two weeks) is the three Life Spans and the clinical stuff. It goes by quick ;-)

hmmmm....think I may try to CLEP Analysis of Literature. Back in January I took an entrance exam for Ivy Tech community college....got a 97% on the english portion! Thanks for the info!!

Hello all. I was just curious..does the unofficial review actually take 2-3 weeks? I have 158 hours of credit...I hope it don't take forever..haha

took exactly 3 wks for me!

Tasha,

How can I get an unofficial review?

You have to fill out the application($75) and submit it, then have your transcipts from other colleges sent in. Once they receive your transcipts it says it will take 2-3 weeks for your unoffical review.

You can check to see when they received your transcipts under the EC website..go to MyEC, and on the left scroll down to Incoming Transcript Status. That way you will have an idea when your 2-3 weeks will be over.

Then just anxiously wait. :D

I have been waiting a week so far..I'm so impatient..lol

Thanks,

Ok did it, ready to get this ball rolling. I guess I will looking at the least 3 -4weeks...I have over 60 generals, but of course I have no literature or info lit. Can Ethics work for your Humanities requirement?

Actually I am feeling less anxiety then I did when trying to make my decision to attend EC. I realize now it was nothing but fear that has held me back. I did app online, mailed off my Id, and license. and made all the requests for my previous school transcripts - that was the only hastle but it done.

I think the requirements are still better than traditional, trying to figure out if I should take the A&P class at community or do study for EC exam? What do you think?

Gotta be up to you for A&P...i had NO time to take a class so i've been studying for it myself for EC's exam. You can always start with Health & Safety it's basic fundamentals of nuring, nursing process ect. so seemed a good one to start with! =)

I'm planning to bridge from LVN to RN through Excelsior. I hope to start the process this fall. After I get my unofficial review which tests can I take before I have to pony up the big enrollment fee? I was thinking I could take the first couple before I actually enroll. Is that correct?

You can take Essentials of Nursing Care: Health Safety and Transition to the Professional Registered Nurse Role prior to actual enrollment.
