  1. Well I have all my nursing classes to take and micro. So I was silly and thought I would take Micro first..boy I wish I would have saved it for the end. I am stuck with it. There is so much stuff I get overwelmed sometimes. I have been sitting on it for 4 months now. I wasn't planning on taking this long. Well keep up the good work girls!
  2. I am in NW Florida for now. I am studying micro though. I was trying to get it out of the way before I take the nursing classes. But there is alot to it..haha. I plan on taking it at the end of this month. The I will start the nursing stuff.
  3. I too am new to EC. I am actually waiting on my review. I have been studying Micro. I travel for work so I am in Florida til next year. I tried to login to the EPN but for some reason it won't let me..I was thinking maybe because I am still under review!?!?! I would be happy to network with anyone. Does anyone know if I can schedule and take my micro test before they even do my review or do I have to wait until they say I am good to go..haha Micro should be the only class besides the nursing classes I should have to take.(At least I hope with 158 hours)LOL I will be moving home to PA by the time I am ready for workshops and CPNE..but I am willing to network with anyone from anywhere :)
  4. just curious..is there a generic letter for this petition? just in my past experience in petitioning for respiratory issues for national and state legislation there was always a generic letter that you could send in with your name and titles attached to it. it also alleviated those errors everyone is noticing. it seems like it was always the number of people is what counted. i will be glad to do this and write my own petition, but i was just curious since i am just beginning at ec and was thinking a generic petition would be nice. i just want to support anyone going through this experience because you all have worked your tails off to have those credentials!!
  5. You have to fill out the application($75) and submit it, then have your transcipts from other colleges sent in. Once they receive your transcipts it says it will take 2-3 weeks for your unoffical review. You can check to see when they received your transcipts under the EC website..go to MyEC, and on the left scroll down to Incoming Transcript Status. That way you will have an idea when your 2-3 weeks will be over. Then just anxiously wait. I have been waiting a week so far..I'm so impatient..lol
  6. Hello all. I was just curious..does the unofficial review actually take 2-3 weeks? I have 158 hours of credit...I hope it don't take forever..haha
  7. Hello. I am a RT and currently going to nursing school but I wanted to tell you my experience with UPMC. I applied for a RT position in June of last year, never heard anything. I called and they said it was closed even though I couldn't tell that by the website. But November, when the position was opened back up(which I did not reapply for), they called and asked if I was still interested. I would try and call HR themselves and ask if the position you are looking at is even open still. Just an idea! Amy
  8. I took Chem and Lab online when I was in the resp therapy program from KCK. I am so glad I did it. They mailed me a box with the labs I could do at home..then the chemicals we couldn't have they had a computer program you did the simulations on. Thats my personal experience...but it worked out really well.
