I am in my first semester of nursing school BSN Program and in my third week.  Today I took an open book quiz and scored an 87% which isn’t that bad but unfortunately the average was 95% and I got the lowest score in the class. I feel like maybe I don’t really belong in nursing school I passed but it’s a little discouraging.

It does hurt, but I stopped obsessing over grades.

I always joke that Nursing is my 7th language.

Where I struggle, too, like my grammar. LOL. I can comprehend more than I can write.

Eh. I still perfected some exams and quizzes without an open book. Did you open your eyes at all?

I don't think this response was necessary, either [fellow nursing student].

I'm trying to make the OP feel better that it can be done without an "open book."

No one asks what grades you got in nursing school during a job interview. The classes I had to work the hardest in but got lower grades are the classes I learned the most. It's better to learn critical thinking skills than get straight A's in nursing, IMHO. You're doing great! Keep up the good work, study hard, and take the B and run! -signed a B average student

Solution is don’t ask your classmates what they got!
