I went to the mailbox with hope again today, but knowing that it was way too early. Sure enough my letter was there! It's just for the top 110 people who made it to the interview round, but still, I'm so excited! After the interviews, they take 64, so more than half make it past this point.
Now, I need to call tomorrow to set up my interview and they start next Monday! I still need to finalize my interview questions and answers and find something nice to wear. I'm a wreck already, and I've got the whole weekend to worry.
It's for Johnson County Community College in Kansas City area.
I have called and my interview is Monday at 12:30. I have a nice outfit picked out and am working on the answers to some of these questions. Like "Why do you want to be a nurse?". I don't want to sound like an automaton, and want everything I say to be really personal. Ugh. I was reading a website that said one of the questions they were asked was what were their core values? That one would throw me so I hope I don't get anything like that. Do they want answers like honesty, integrity, etc.... or something else? I'm obsessing now, and should probably just go in and wing it. I think I do well that way.
Do all school require interviews to get in to school? I haven't heard one thing about this for my program! Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
No, all schools are different. We need to take the ACT, not the TEAS, or some of the other tests. We have an interview, but some schools have you write an essay. They are all different and your school will have the information available to you.

No problem.
Had my interview today. I think it went really well. There were 10 questions only. My interviewer gave me cards with the questions on them as well as asking them. I hope I did well. She liked my questions at the end, and she was very nice. Keep your fingers crossed everyone!
