Got the job!

Here to share a little positivity. Took NCLEX 2 weeks ago tomorrow, passed in 85 questions, got the call today from the LTC a mile away from my house that I had applied at a few days prior to taking my boards. Orientation is tomorrow. So excited to start my LPN job! I am in a small rural area with a fairly large ADN program so I was surprised to find a job so easily. Sending positive vibes to all the people on here who are going to take NCLEX soon and all of the LPNs who are looking for jobs.

Congrats!!! Piece of advice: Don't be too hard on yourself in the beginning. It takes time to get into a grove. :)

You are lucky it took me 6 months finding a job. But dont lose hope. Here I am living the dream as LVN. I may not be an RN yet but im workin at a prestigious healthcare team in TX.

That is awesome!! Good for you!! I graduated in 2007

Oops. Anyways I graduated in late 2008 and didnt land a job till January 2010, so I love hearing that LPN's are finding jobs quickly after graduating again!
