Thanks!

Hi everyone! I've been reading this thread looking for updates about the selection process for the 2010 new grad program, thank you for all the info you've shared! I wanted to see if any of you are in the same boat as me. I have a panel interview tomorrow at 9 am with the directors of the CVDOU! I spoke with one of the recruiters last week over the phone and he said they have a few openings. Is anyone else interviewing for this unit? Good luck to you all! :)

My interview is tomorrow at 1:30 pm and I am interviewing for the DOU. However, the recruiter used dou and cvdou interchangably when I spoke with him on the phone sooooo. Well, I am very excited but also nervous. :o Was told I would interview with two nurse managers and that someone from HR would also be there. I really want to work at this hospital, long term in fact....so I hope it all works out. Good luck to everyone and congrats on making it this far too! I hope we all secure a slot :nurse: :) Prayers and good luck again to all.

Called and told him I had applied. He had my information. by the way you need to have a 3.0 gpa. good luck.

I'm going for the panel interview this morning at 11:30am, and I'm getting nervous! For those who have already gone through the interview, how long did it take? Should I plan for at least an hour stay?

Hi all,

I interviewed this morning at 9 am. The process took about 45 min overall. First I went to HR and then was escorted to the panel interview with 2 nurse managers and one person from HR. It went really well! The managers were very nice, low key, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable! No questions out of the ordinary. To those who are interviewing later today, good luck!! You will do great, just take a deep breath and be confident! I am hoping we all get spots! ps- nursing orientation starts the week of April 12th and then the new grad classroom training follows, just an fyi!

So I had my interview and it seemed like I was only there for 20 to 30 minutes. :( not sure if it went ok. Gave it my best as nervous as I was but felt like I didn't have the time to get all of my points across. Don't know. I will see what happens. Felt a little rushed but what can you do. The program is apparently super competitive and they said they had lots of interviews to get through. I was escorted by an Hr person and when I checked in I chatted it up with the Hr receptionist and the guy who brought me to the interview panel room. They seem to be happy with working at good sam and they were very nice. The unit managers were very nice and welcoming. I hope it went ok. For others interviewed did you find your interviewers warm and welcoming or were they extremely professional and cold or...? What's you opinion? What made you feel that the interview went well. I ask because I'm paranoid and left feeling awefully unsure. :(. I have an obsession with trying to read peoples body language and I could only interpret Luke warm from them....maybe even a little on the cooler side....I really hope my interpretation is wrong and they really liked me. K.....I'm being neurotic. Goodnight and goodluck to all. :)

Hola, Has anyone heard back yet?
