Good Pop Up to Hold - Don't freak out :)

I realized looking on allnurses.com that there were not a great deal of members who wrote about the issue I had. For those of you who check your PVT and get the good pop up and then sometime later it goes to a Hold...do not freak out!

I honestly believe that once you hit submit and the computer shuts off or you finish at question 265, that test knows if you passed or failed.

Out of of hundreds of posts and replies, I've never met someone who got the good pop up and still failed...I'm sure someone will comment prove me wrong, but for every one person that does...there are 500 who say it worked.

I took my test Friday, 6/30/17 and checked the PVT 30 min and 4 hrs later and got the good pop up.

Checked it Saturday, 7/1/17 about Noon and got a "results on hold" message.

I had issues with my palm-vein scan upon first checking in, it was the weekend and 4th of July on Tuesday.

On Monday, 7/3/17, exactly 72hrs from my test day, got express results...PASS!

    Congrats! I've promised myself I won't do any sort of tricks after I complete my test. This website has taught me that it adds way too much stress.

    I thought that I wouldn't either. It's a different mind set after you take it and have to wait the agonizing 48 hrs...if you even live in an express results state. Kudos to you for not breaking to temptation...I'm not that strong.

    It used to take 6 weeks and snail mail... Your head nurse would be waiting the day after the results came out to see your letter and let you know if you still had a job.

    My nursing school friends actually found out before I did by checking the website. Haha

    I am did my test on 7/10/17 and been using the pvt every 4 hr i did all 205 for the PN test and I just cant stop thinking about it even though I get the "good pop out"

    I did my pn 7/10/17 too! Except i got 85 questions. Tomorrow is the big day they post my liscense because i got the good pop up 16 times lol

    Yes I did pass on my second attempt!!! :) Nursing almost a year now in pediatrics :)

    I got a good pop up when I wrote the exam on June 19th, 3 hours after my exam. So I finished my exam around 1:20PM, checked the PVT around 4:30 and kept getting the good pop up until 5:08. I checked again around 6:45PM and it changed to "HOLD". I was really scared, and I kept trying and it kept saying "hold". I tried again yesterday on June 20th and it still said hold. I tried again JUST NOW, and it CHANGED to the "good pop up" again.

    What does this mean?!!!!!

    I'm sure if you got the good pop up you passed. Anything go wrong with your processing or sign in the day of the test? I had to rescan my palm several times and I think that's what caused my "Hold" on my account.
