  1. Good Pop Up to Hold - Don't freak out :)

I'm sure if you got the good pop up you passed. Anything go wrong with your processing or sign in the day of the test? I had to rescan my palm several times and I think that's what caused my "Hold" on my account.
  2. Good Pop Up to Hold - Don't freak out :)

    Yes! I did pass!!!
  3. Good Pop Up to Hold - Don't freak out :)

Yes I did pass on my second attempt!!! :) Nursing almost a year now in pediatrics :)
  4. Explain not admitting an ORIF patient.

There's Medicaid available. I would think she could get an overnight and rehab considering the complications of this injury, lack of assistance in evaluating mobility and the lack of at home care available to her. I do pediatrics and and in my "world...
  5. Just a basic scenario: Why would you not admit this patient for a few days and discharge to rehab? 65-70 year old female prior hx: pacemaker insertion (with known post op complications), high BMI, diabetes type 2. patient dx: bimalleolar fracture of ...
  6. Florida November 2017 Cohort

I'm in Florida and starting WGU September 1st. I had college credit from 10 years ago and my ADN and with all that I was 70% done with the BSN. I'm in the RN-BSN program. Best of luck to you.
  7. NCLEX: You name it, it happened...

Best I can describe it is where they scan the veins in your palm. I'm assuming no two people have the same sequence or pattern in their veins and so it is PearsonVUEs method of "security" to ensure you are who you are. You have to scan your palm vein...
  8. Good Pop Up to Hold - Don't freak out :)

I thought that I wouldn't either. It's a different mind set after you take it and have to wait the agonizing 48 hrs...if you even live in an express results state. Kudos to you for not breaking to temptation...I'm not that strong.
  9. I realized looking on allnurses.com that there were not a great deal of members who wrote about the issue I had. For those of you who check your PVT and get the good pop up and then sometime later it goes to a Hold...do not freak out! I honestly beli...
  10. NCLEX PN Results - PVT accurate 2017?

I don't know how accurate waiting for an email to check the PVT is. I took mine 6/30/17 and had a 60 min drive home from the testing center in Mobile, Al. I had been refreshing my email to get that confirmation about having finished the NCLEX. Wasn't...
  11. Taking test on 7/6 and VERY anxious

You made the right decision to move your test. I moved mine from the day after Fathers Day to the 28th then to the 30th. You'll never really feel ready for the test, but at some point you will need some sort of "barometer" to measure if your ready (i...
  12. NCLEX: You name it, it happened...

I'll give a little back story as far as school and go from there. My post is long, but well worth the read for a little information and comfort to others. I graduated from a private, hard, accelerated nursing school here in Pensacola, FL. We learned ...
  13. Pearson Vue Trick did NOT work for me and I PASSED!

I'm not so sure this PVT is 100% effective either. I do read posts of individuals who have done it and get no pop up and then find out they passed two days later. I just took NCLEX yesterday (Friday) and did not get the good pop up. I tested at 75 q...
