Just be patient. The Pearson VUE system is all electronic. Your results are delivered and scored by the computer- which works 24/7. Your state BON has to review your results by hand, confirm that all your paperwork is in order, and process your license. They also only work during normal business hours Monday-Friday. This is probably a very busy time for them- since students are graduating and taking NCLEX all over the state.

Sometimes you pass the NCLEX, but your name doesn't show up because your application is incomplete. Like the BON is missing fingerprints, payment, or transcripts from your school.

Depending on your state, it can take several weeks for you to receive a license number. My name wasn't on the BON website for two weeks after I took the exam. You just need to give the BON time to process your results. In the meantime, call the BON to make sure that they have all the parts of your application.

Don't worry..It just take little longer in some cases but it doesn't mean you failed..GOOD POP UP=100% PASS..Just relax and wait for that beautiful moment when you'll see your name on BON WEbsite:)

OMG thanks soo much... i mean it wont take me to CC page what so ever... but i just keep worrying, okay i'll relax and stop checking...okay thanks again...i told all my friends & family and then i was thinking like CRAP why did i do that ... lol

Yes, everybody freaks out after their NCLEX and thinks they will be the one person that the PVT doesn't work for. But once your name comes up on the BON website, you'll be super confident in the PVT and you'll be writing these posts to other people. :-)

Each state is different in how long they take to post name on website. Also if taken LVN in CA then you will not see name on website until you have results and paid license fees

Try not to worry! I know, easier said than done. For some states, it can take a couple weeks to process and activate your license with the BON.

When I came home from taking my test on a Friday afternoon, my license was posted only an HOUR later, however, I think I was extremely lucky. In my state, it usually takes anywhere from 24-48 hours, usually. I've heard California can be extremely slow.

How long after taking the test is this considered "accurate", I take my test on the 26th /deepbreath

thanks everyone! yes i am in CALIFORNIA!! && they are killing me.. & to ur question i took my test at 8am finish at 12 30 but i didnt check until midnight, i wasnt going to check but i just couldnt take it anymore... but i know some ppl that wait about 30 mins to an hr & check and they've gotten the good pop up... but im not TOO forsure

As a previous poster said in CA for the LVN our names wont show up on the website until we get our results and send a check to them and wait AGAIN.. Lots of waiting! I took my NCLEX PN on the 17th so we are about on the same timeline..they were super backed up and late sending out my original paperwork to even sign up to test (and my whole class as well..some people are STILL waiting and they got our stuff on March 8th)

Please keep us posted, I am sure you passed this time esp. if you did the PVT and it wont let you pay :)

I finished my NCLEX, walked out the door and was logging into the Pearson website. It was that quick. As long as it says, delivery successful. You can do it!
