Hey! It might be a little early to start this, given that applications aren't open yet, but I noticed that the multi-criteria points system was updated in September 2022. I thought I remembered being in better shape when I looked at the old points system in past semesters ? so I was curious to hear from anyone else who is planning to apply and see where we all stand.
I haven't taken the TEAS yet, but not including my TEAS score I have 56 points so far, and I'll have a max of 81 depending on my score.

Orientation via zoom this coming Monday, so not a lot of time haha. I don't know how the tuition will work out and it's going to be a lot more work than a traditional pathway. The end goal is a BSN for me, but I don't want to compromise my success by taking on too much at once doing CEP. I'd love to know what times we meet for lectures and clinicals. Also have admission to SAC for fall and a lot of things are already underway for that program, so I need to make a decision pretty quickly. So far SAC has been quick to respond to questions and I know I could work on my BSN there during intersession/Summer. The clinical and theory times at SAC also happen to work very well with my job. Good luck to those who are waiting to hear back, hang in there!
When I asked on the phone today, she said that it'll probably just be one extra class on top of the ADN coursework & that we'd get Summer and Winter semesters off. But someone else commented earlier in the forum that they declined the offer, because the schedules/classes line up to be extremely difficult. I also feel like a lot of people are declining due to that rigorous coursework as well...I'm nervous to accept the CEP offer because I'm worried I might fail the regular program's courses because of the BSN courses...Also, do you know if we have to give our answer on Monday, immediately after the orientation? Because they don't seem to be giving a lot of time for us to think about it...

I think they need the answer asap since the orientation is basically already counting you as a CEP student. We know ourselves best so it's just a matter if you think you can handle it!
Hi everyone!
Please don't let my comment discourage you from the CEP program! It is honestly a great opportunity. Just for me personally, I tend to get lazy with studying and knew that I couldn't fully trust myself to keep up with the workload. It really just depends on you as a student ?

I'm still feeling on the fence about the CEP pathway. It's a bummer that there isn't a cohort that's gone before us to ask questions regarding the workload among other things. The orientation today helped answers some concerns but I still have some doubts. I'm wondering how everyone else is feeling following todays orientation?
Has anyone who turned down cep heard back yet?
I turned it down because I'm a post bacc student if I choose that option and the tuition per semester for just one course was not affordable for me which defeated the purpose of going ADN anyways (for me at least)
congratulations to everyone who chose that path and got accepted!
