Golden West College ADN Fall 2021

Hi all! I wanted to start a new thread for those of us who are planning to apply for GWC ADN Program for Fall 2021. I thought we could post any questions, help, or updates. 

I will be applying with either 82 or 87 points depending on my TEAS score. Right now I'm hovering in the mid 80s for practice exams, but hoping I can still land in the 90s. 

It looks like last semester was really competitive so it's making me nervous.

I believe a unit secretary was listed as qualifying job experience but you would need to submit proof of the hours you worked with a company letter head, typically a supervisor or HR would do that for you. Just as @Greta Heath mentioned above. Good luck! ☺️

Thank you. I have submitted proof for the hours in March to apply for Fall 2021. However, it was roughly 500hrs at that time so I wonder if I should resend an updated letter as I have worked more than 6 months now.

Oh got it! I don’t think they will accept it for fall because it needed to be at the time of applying but it wouldn’t hurt to try! And if anything it’ll help for next semester.

Check your GWC email. The deadline to accept is 06/08

Oh man. I didn't get an email which feels like a gut punch. Congrats to those that received an acceptance. Hopefully my time will come soon.
