Golden West College ADN Fall 2021

Hi all! I wanted to start a new thread for those of us who are planning to apply for GWC ADN Program for Fall 2021. I thought we could post any questions, help, or updates. 

I will be applying with either 82 or 87 points depending on my TEAS score. Right now I'm hovering in the mid 80s for practice exams, but hoping I can still land in the 90s. 

It looks like last semester was really competitive so it's making me nervous. 

I am in the alternate pool :’( #7! So there is still hope!

I haven’t gotten an email so I’m assuming I didn’t get accepted, which means it’s my fourth rejection. I had 82 points and was confident I’d get in this time around since people in the previous semesters like last fall got accepted with points in the low 80s. Nursing feels like a pipe dream at this point. Don’t know what to change my Congrats to everyone who got accepted though.

Did you guys receive an email reminder to accept your spot even though you emailed her that you've already accepted?

Yes, I did! However, Dr. M emailed me back again to confirm my acceptance. She said the email regarding admissions requirements, MOU, etc. will be sent shortly.

yes but I also got my confirmation that I’ve accepted my spot

I got accepted with 84 points so that 88 cut off is definitely wrong LOL

It’s today! Hopefully after today you get more news from the school ?

It sounds like the cut-off was around 84! So far, I've seen all of us in the 84 - 89 point range. 

Deadline to accept a cohort spot is today 6/8!
