:typing Hi everyone!! Im applying to GCC nursing program this fall 2009. I have heard that its very competitive and was wondering if anyone could tell me what they got on there HESI exam, which got them into the program? The minimum that they need just to apply is 75%, I got an 81% and am concerned that my average will not be high enough to secure me a spot for the fall. Any insight is appreciated!! Congratulations to all who are currently enrolled in the nursing program and good luck to all those who are applying!
Sincerely Thank you

That's a great score! I think you have a good shot too. :-)
As for information sessions, mine was packed too... made me sick to my stomach to see all the people who were applying in just *one* info session, and they had tons. But I have confidence that you'll be getting the "big" letter! :-)
Just remember to come back and let us know!!
Back to my OB book.......
I am also applying to GCC's nursing program for Fall 2009. I am curious as to if I even have a decent shot at getting accepted.. I am in A&PI this semester so my Bio and Chem classes will be used to determine whether or not I get in. I got an A in Bio and a B in Chem. I took the Hesi and got an 82% overall and an 82% in reading comprehension.. anyone here think they could help me out ? It would be greatly appreciated !! :)

It's packed EVERY single time from what I've heard. It's a very competitive program because of it's low-cost, length-to-completion, and high pass rate (2008 recorded a 100% pass rate thus far).
