  1. I am going into my 3rd semester and have always worn a white scrub top with the upper pocket and two lower pockets. I guess it depends on your clinical instructor.
  2. We get two chances to pass with 100% or you are forced to withdrawal from the program.
  3. Thank you for the posts!! I feel as though I did not practice enough NCLEX style questions last semester. I am definitely going to do some everyday! I have to find what works for me and stick to it so I can succeed!
  4. I was enrolled in a nursing program last fall and spring.. I had some difficulty getting through my first semester of fundamentals but I did it. I barely passed with a C. Second semester (last spring) I ended up not passing by a few points. I did well in my nursing labs, and in the clinical areas. I got great evaluations by my instructors. My downfall was the tests. I struggled alot with them. I tried study groups and I even studied with a nurse. So here is my situation.. I am granted the chance to return to the program this January. I only had the one time to mess up and that will not be allowed again or I will be forced to leave the program for good. I want to know what are some of the best test taking tips that you guys have.. What are the best study techniques. At this point I am willing to try anything! I want to do the absolute best I can and I want to succeed at nursing school! HELP!!!!!
  5. I am about to finish my second semester here and I have only written one paper so far in nursing II. Very easy and only worth 5% of your grade.
  6. I'm nervous! But ready. I was just wondering what kind of school supplies to get like binders, notebooks, etc. They touched briefly on this at the orientation but I'm not really sure. I remember hearing something about get two binders but nothing else really. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
  7. the nursing fundamentals book, med-math, and the clinical skills dvds
  8. I'm due for an upgrade in October on my phone so I was thinking about getting a Blackberry too but I wasn't sure if you have to pay for an Internet plan or you can just upload the programs to the phone without the internet because i know it costs at least an extra $30 a month which I really don't want to spend..
  9. that does seem like a good price.
  10. i'm pretty sure it does not matter. i was thinking of checking prices on the internet and such to see if i can get any deals because i know gcc's bookstore is a rip-off.
  11. I'm nervous too! I also still have to go get my textbooks. Someone I know who graduated last year let me borrow some books that would be helpful but none of the required texts.
  12. i wish i knew someone who was in my classes... =[ i just finished A&P 2 in summer I session so now im free until september =] and i just have to take micro next summer...
