Hi everyone! Just wondering if you get the kids that come in every day (like the diabetics or kids that take a daily med) a small gift for Christmas? I work in a middle school and have no idea if or what I should get them! It's my first year working as the school nurse :) Thanks!

I have a little bowl of treats that my med students take from all through the year. I had little mints at the begining of the year, Candy corn at halloween/thanksgiving, and now have Christmas M&M's. They get these if they remember to come get their meds without me calling for them. So, they are treated enough without an extra present at Christmas!

I thought the same thing last year (my first year). I do get Christmas/"Holiday" pencils that the kids can take, if they ask nicely. I am at an elementary school though. Last year I put them out a couple weeks before and they were gone in 2 days and I had 50 extra kids in the office looking for a pencil. So I learned my lesson and waited until today to put them out
