NTI is right around the corner. The National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition is the premier conference for high acuity and critical care nurses. This year's conference is in Denver, May 17-22.
Are you going? allnurses will have a booth and would love to meet you. Stop by Booth 536 and meet the staff. We will have great giveaways and our daily drawings for special prizes. When you stop by, be sure to tell us your username and we will have something special for you.
We also would like to have a get together to give us a chance to meet you. You will have an opportunity to meet and talk with Brian, the AN founder, and many of the staff members.
Let us know if this is something you would be interested in. We need to know how many people to plan for. You can post in this thread if you are attending and are interested in the get-together.
We are also planning to set up a cell phone communication system so we can send out reminders to your cell phone re. the drawing times as well as the time and location of the get-together. If you would like to participate in this, send me your cell phone # and email so I can add it to our list. All info will be kept confidential.
Those of you who have attended before- are there many schools represented (of the non-profit variety)?
I'm shopping dnp programs right now and would love to have some time to talk to some school staff directly.
Is it open to all nursing disciplines including LPNS? I would love to go! I live in Denver!
Not sure about the LPN part- but it is a critical care teaching institute. I see that you are in home health, and so am not sure how applicable it would be to your work environment. (No diss, I was an LPN and my second job is in home care- just would hate for you to spend the $$ and not get much useful out of it. It's fairly pricy!)

Even if you don't go to the convention, you are more than welcome to attend to get-together. If you are interested in this, send me a pm with your contact info so I can let you know the time and place. Tentatively, we are thinking about having this on Tues. evening.
