can't get high score despite of studying

Published

hi, I am so sad and losing hope, I've been studying for nclex rn for one year, and until now I can't get higher scores.. my scores are only 53-58%. Please help me , what study methods should I do? I keep rescheduling my exam.

i'm using kaplan, saunders, and pearson from mary ann hogan and the linda la charity...

When did you start studying? Your review references sounds great. Just keep practicing questions and don't be discouraged if you score low..

If it's available to you, I would study the Decision Tree. I wish I would have studied the Decision Tree prior to the diagnostic because it really put things into perspective.

hi everyone, I am scoring 60-64 percent now on kaplan, what I did is I treat every exam like a real nclex, I dont know why but I get higher scores when I dont over analyze.. what first comes into my mind thats the answer I click and then go next immediately. 50 questions takes me 30 mins.. 100 questions takes me one hour...i'll take qt3 today..

Good job, when I did Kaplan my scores went from high 60 to low 50- they dont matter as long as you KNOW the CONTENT! That's how I studied I knew my weakness was the content material and not the actual questions so I look up everything. Listen to Kaplan content material and read the book ( I personally did not read it cover to cover-again I mostly focused on my weak areas)

Also, I had an amazing Kaplan instructor who emailed us guides and notes we could use to study. If you are interested in the material PM me and I will email you the information.

hi, my Qt3 now is 68%...I am doing the same strategy, reading and clicking the first answer that comes into my mind..sounds weird..

Yes.. Go with your first gut.. The minute you second guess and change answer, that's when it's gonna betray you.. xD Can't find the right word.. But yeah!!

and its takes longer to sit there and apply the decision to tree to every question when the clock is ticking!
