Gerontology....Who has or is taking this class soon???

Who's taking it winter 2? Have you gotten your book? Are you buying or renting?

Also, if you have taken it, any advice? :D

My kid turned 7 today. Have to attend her party and a baby shower, cook dinner, and attempt to watch Oscars all while trying to finish this paper…Ugh also don't wait til the last minute, but I'm running on empty. I just want to be done with school and April can't come fast enough!!

Send some "heartlessness" this way please and thanks. Have howled through the movie, the book and now attempting to write the paper. Hard to type through tears. I also can't wait for this assignment to be done! Which is why I most likely have avoided writing it - last day, and I never wait until the last minute ...

I just finished and I also never wait till the last minute. I have to take quiz now. I have shed tears with my patients many times while other nurses just show no emotion. Here I am that "other nurse." I loved the story and the way he looked at life: )

As Morrie would say, "learn to detach" experience the emotion completely then let let it go!!

Like I said before....some of this information, like the test questions, are targeted for the 10 weeks students. I firmly believe that based on my experience in a past class. It's insane!! That's why we scratch our heads.....:confused:

still trying to get this paper done. I am STRUGGLING.....and never wait until the last day to so it. I dislike this week.

I also took the test thins morning. Had a computer "blip" in the middle of it which pushed me to another page and was just like hitting the submit button. I answered all but one question. I pray that I got all the rest correct....I doubt it, but a girl could hope.

Compared to Family Nursing, I am finding this class to be a breeze! LOL! Not quite...but in comparison. It's taken me a few days to get the assignment done, but that is working on it periodically, taking breaks, watching TV, playing words with friends, and facebooking! The case studies for Family nursing were killer compared to this! I'm submitting mine now.

Still have to do the quiz and reply to two discussion posts...

haven't looked at it much - but is that the do the literature review and don't post the same thing that others in your class are using DB or is that Module 4?

Wow...our TA changed the parameters of this DB post assignment for module 3 from last night. It is exactly as you stated. Resources cannot duplicate what other students use. It has to be a journal article. Or I must have been looking at the wrong thing! My Bad!

I have a problem with the not duplicating resources. I use the OU library to search for journal articles. I find my resources, then do my post in word. How do I know if someone else chose the same article as I did or not? I may go friday to post mine, and see that someone else, who posted earlier, used my resource. Am I supposed to redo my post? I think not! I may have to post something in the QA board about this one...

I just posted my DB for module 3 so I did not have to worry about others resources. Now they just have to worry about mine!
