Who's taking it winter 2? Have you gotten your book? Are you buying or renting?

Also, if you have taken it, any advice? :D

Is the writing portion of this week's assignment just a summary about our person??? Aside from the assessment tools of course. I'm not sure what the angle is on this. Anyone?

Compared to Family Nursing, I am finding this class to be a breeze! LOL! Not quite...but in comparison. It's taken me a few days to get the assignment done, but that is working on it periodically, taking breaks, watching TV, playing words with friends, and facebooking! The case studies for Family nursing were killer compared to this! I'm submitting mine now.Still have to do the quiz and reply to two discussion posts...
I'm the opposite. I thought the family stuff was time consuming, but way easy.

I agree w/boyfactory. I didn't think Family was so time consuming as this class. Just submitted my discussion. Didn't want to deal with the stress of my sources already being used.

MtSteel…No clue…Will tackle tomorrow.

I find this class consumes a LOT of time. The sources...oh the sources! Of course, I tend to whine by the 3rd week in every class, lol! And a quiz on "skimmed" chapters???? Huh???

That's just too many chapters to even read. What's sad for me is I'm also in nutrition. A REALLY interesting class, yet I can't devote hardly ANY time to it. Think I'll keep my book and learn about nutrition once I'm done w/these nursing classes…LOL

Just got my grade for assignment module 2. I lost two points for two periods that were either in the wrong spot or should not have been there at all. This was on the in-text citation. My references passed without a hitch. Again...body of written statement was fine. 2 points deducted = 98%. Lowered my overall grade.

On to the next.

I feel your pain. I've lost points for spacing. What a ridiculous deduction. I am so sorry for all of us!!! 98% is awesome however! But, I know how you feel.

I am not in pain so much, as I wonder what this is teaching all of us. That what we are learning and have to say is less important than a citation of what someone else has had to say on the same subject. I often have to force myself to go find another persons thoughts. Only to lose points on a poorly placed (.)

Delta...I loved my nutrition class. I took it at my local University in a real classroom and I learned so much of value in that class. I still use the information everyday of my life now.
