Georgia SWU-FNP Online

Published

Hello everyone. I was wondering if there was anyone applying into or is currently admitted into the Georgia Southwestern State University online FNP program. I just applied and currently awaiting acceptance. This will be there second enrolling class, the tuition is very affordable, its all online and is 22 months if anyone is interested. I was recently accepted into UC FNP program which starts in the spring but it is more expensive and I can get in state tuition in GA and pay for the program out of pocket if I choose to. I haven't decided yet. I am also thinking of applying to Clayton State University and Georgia College FNP program. I would love some feed back. Looking forward to forming so study groups. Thanks in advance.

Yes I am going to apply to Clayton State and GSW....congrats!! I am sure you are super excited

Thank you. I'm very excited. How does your friend feel about the program so far,

Hello everyone!

Did anyone get accepted to GSW? I'm applying for fall 2016. I wanted to get some insite of the program.

The app process was pretty simple. It's a great nursing school but the 2016 class will be the second class for the program

Do GSW require one full year of experience as an RN?

I'm not sure about that. But it did not say anything about that on the school Web site. How long have you been a nurse?

You can call and speak to Dr. Simmons over the program. She is a very sweet lady and will answer any of your questions. I was accepted within 2 weeks I f applying. I got into the University of Cincinnati also but they were over 20 thousand more than they is program.

When did you apply?

I applied around July or August it's been a min. I just miss the deadline for august

I would love to hear more about this program, and if they assist you with clinical placement. Going to go read up on it now.

I don't know where you live but they will assist only if you are having trouble if you are in the same area of the school they can help more. I live in Covington Georgia

Anyone in this program care to give me any insight? I am thinking of applying to Clayton State. How is it going and do you recommend it?
