Georgia State University, Fall 2011 Application

I mailed my Fall 2011 GSU nursing application on Jan. 22. The application deadline is March 1st. As we wait, I invite all applicants, traditional or ACE, to post their program gpa and TEAS version V scores and keep others abreast when they receive an applicaton response. Here are mine:

Program GPA: 3.63

TEAS V: 86.0 (Date 1/15/2011)

Percentile Rank - National: 97

Percentile Rank - Program: 94

I've been ok this week (SO busy after a lazy spring break!!) but I'm starting to get seriously antsy. I actually found myself getting very small butterflies when I checked my mail this afternoon.

I seriously think I'll come unglued next week.

OMG, that's awesome news--HUGE CONGRATS to you, francineguster!!!! I know that you are so excited that you can barely stand it, and I don't blame you one little bit. If I were in your place, I'd be celebrating tonight!!!

Do you mind if I ask a couple of questions? Did you apply only to traditional, or to both? Are you completely done with prereqs, or are you taking some this semester?

GULP--I'm a nervous wreck now! It is officially mailbox stalking time!!

I only applied for Traditional.

I'm currently taking A&PII but the rest of my pre-reqs are done. I have to finish A&PII with a C or better and an overall GPA of 2.8 to maintain my position in the program.

highschoolfuturenurs i had a 4.0 program gpa and a 95 teas score.

I also received my ACE acceptance letter in the mail today!!! My program GPA is 4.0 and I made an 86 on the TEAS. I'm not sure how i got in the first batch of acceptance letters, but i'm not gonna complain!! I'm so excited!!!!! Good luck to the rest of you all! =)

CONGRATS Hamlet!!!!!!! You have clearly worked hard for that 4.0 and deserve a first batch letter!! :) What a way to start the weekend.

Are you completely done with prereqs, or are you taking some now? If you are, what are you taking? (I'm taking A&P 2 and Micro w/ lab right now and I'm terribly concerned that I won't have enough points.)
