I have an overall GPA of 2.25, my program GPA is a 3.15...i got a D in my human anatomy lecture but re-took it with an A. I have yet to take the teas. However the requirements at GPC are....min. 2.0 overall GPA, 2.7 in program GPA 2.7 in biology. However i was previously studying in business administrations so i have around 5 W'S and have failed only one class. What are my chances of getting accepted? Has anyone gotten accepted with similar scores/ similar circumstances?

So once again, overall GPA: 2.25 (2.3 with this upcoming A)

Program GPA: 3.15 (with only one re-taken course )

Bio GPA:3.5 (I'm also not sure if the previous D in A&P will be included in the calculations...)

requirements:

Overall GPA: min. 2.0

Program GPA 2.7

Bio GPA:2.7

I was referring to my broke butt saving :-)

Does anyone know anything about where to get the CPR certification? Is it just a one day thing?

You can sign up at various locations. It's a one day class. Google "American heart association classes Atlanta"

I know CTC in Acworth offers them.

Great, thank you! :)

Hey all. The school will send out tons of info once they get the acceptances. Get ready to spend money.

Enjoy your freedom. ;)

HI guys,

I just rejected letter today, sad and confused . I have overall GPA 3.75, and program GPA 3.9. I have no repeat courrse. All science course i got A. My TEAS is 58 for the first time and 69 for the second time- 80 for math portion and 78 for reading portion. HOWEVER, i am transfer student and taking general course at other college currently. I think the denial comes from that i am a transfer student. Just let yours guys who are transfer students know this fact.

It was probably your teas. They average the attempts. I was a transfer student. But call see if they made a mistake.

Yay for you!

This may be a silly question- I know GPC has a few campuses that offer nursing. Do they assign you to one?

You'll take most of your nursing classes at the clarkston campus.

Just an FYI- you have to call student accounts and have them add on the $105 fee, it's not automatically done.

I received my acceptance letter this past Saturday!!! Thank you Stephanie for the heads up on checking the mail. I am beyond excited and so proud of all of us for working our tails off to make this happen. I did not apply anywhere else so I will be accepting my spot in the GPC program. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone :)

Hi guys,

Thanks for yours all kind concerns on my case. Yes, i am applying to Gordon, Darton, and West technical College. I am Gordon student and just finished Critical thinking test and waiting for score from ATI. Darton requires me to take TEAS test at thier institution. I have to grasp this opportunity. Congratualtion to all your guys, who are accepted to nursing program. You are deserved for that
