Me. Wrapping up a A&P 2 this semester and will take the TEAS in the next month or so.
Taking A&P 2 at highlands and finishing A&P 1 at portage. Has anyone transferred in any portage classes?
I had completed both of these classes before, but they are well over 6 years old.

I just applied in February after I took the TEAS. I am finishing my A&P 2 this semester and all prerequisites are done! I am just praying I get in! ?
I finished my CNA hours this week and still have to take the state test and get my certification number-hopefully I can do that in one month before the deadline. Also taking A&P 2 this semester and re-taking the teas. Fingers crossed!
congrats to you!!!!! It takes a couple weeks to get your license number so take it as soon as possible! How did you do the first time you took the teas?
I am scheduled to take it on March 14th. Cutting it close I know-but my instructor said if I pass, I should be in the registry within the next week. I made a 77% on the TEAS the first time but I was still in A&P I at the time and there was a lot of A&P 2 on there. Good luck to you!! Such a long wait. Ugh! haha

Hi everyone I applied to the nursing program today. On past forums for GHC I see a lot of people mention a point system. Could someone please explain this? I am a transfer from GSU so I've never heard of this before. Thanks in advance.

Hey! My name is Shelly! All colleges that I know of use a point system to rank applicants and to see who gets into the program. Most schools that I know of actually publish the worksheet that they use to show you how they give you points. GHC does not publish the sheet. I think 2018 was the year that they stopped publishing the worksheet. They reworked it and they are keeping it to themselves.
What we do know is 50% of the grade is the 3 required Science courses. After that everything else’s gets factored in, in mysterious ways! I would give anything to know! LOL.
anyway! The way they let you into the program is based on your score! The highest points get in and the lowest do not.
Welcome to the group and good luck!

Thanks so much for explaining this again I've never heard of it so it is new to me. At this point I'm just hoping for a yes. I don't want to retake any classes and I never want to see the TEAS again LOL.
