Just wondering if anyone knows if getting accepted to GHC is still based on the application worksheet. I just sent in my application but they no longer require the app. worksheet. Does anyone know if they still use the totals on the worksheet or do they do it differently? Also, does anyone know if they have ever taken anyone who has a C? Or, what about the minimum GPA? Thanks for any info about GHC.
Sounds good. I am more than ready to get into a program. The wait is agonizing!!! I am over the 1200 mark, so hopefully I am in good shape. Are you in nursing school yet? If not, have you applied to any programs?
I've applied to 3 programs for Fall semester. 1 of them, my last choice, I got into. I'm still waiting on Highlands and KSU, and KSU's my 1st choice. :heartbeat
Also, do you know what happens if you did not take the SAT? Thats one reason my total seemed low because I did not have an SAT score to put down. I am not required to take the SAT because I already have a bachelors degree. So, does this mean I do not get any points for that part of the worksheet? That is a big part of the points. Thanks for any input.
According to the faculty advisors a Bachelor's degree counts as an automatic 1000 SAT score. If you scored higher than that somewhere else, try & dig it up b/c it's worth free points!
I am still confused, so if have a Bachelors degree it counts as 1000-1100 points as if thats what I got on the SAT? Then I add up the other two categories (Sciences & prereqs). And thats my score?
Yep, that's how you calculate it! My SAT score was 1140 so they took that in lieu of my B.A.
And thanks :)

Well, you get to put your sat score at 1100 and then it is only 40% I think of the overall total, so it would be 440 points of the overall score.
