  1. Thanks for the help with the worksheet. I get it now. Do you happen to know how many people will get in to Marietta campus?
  2. I did look into CSUSB but the application said you must be a permanent resident in California and I have not moved there yet so I do not think I can apply to the program. Thanks.
  3. Thanks. I know the application said preference will be given to students of COD, then they use random selection. I live in GA and it is so competitive I thought I may have a better chance somewhere else. I guess it must be competitive everywhere. Thanks for your help.
  4. I am thinking of moving to Palm Desert, does anyone know how difficult it is to get into the the College of the Desert RN program? Any input would be helpful. Thanks.
  5. What school was your last choice? At least you know you have an option. I applied to GPC but did not get in. I am afraid I will not get into GHC either because I have a couple of C's (from years ago). Good luck, hope you get into KSU.
  6. I am still confused, so if have a Bachelors degree it counts as 1000-1100 points as if thats what I got on the SAT? Then I add up the other two categories (Sciences & prereqs). And thats my score?
  7. Also, do you know what happens if you did not take the SAT? Thats one reason my total seemed low because I did not have an SAT score to put down. I am not required to take the SAT because I already have a bachelors degree. So, does this mean I do not get any points for that part of the worksheet? That is a big part of the points. Thanks for any input.
  8. I am a little under a 1200 because of a couple of bad grades 6 years ago. And I do not have any experience. I have been through this before so I am a little worried. I am about to retake some classes at GPC over the summer and hope that helps for next time (in case I do not get in). Good luck to you, dallasga123 sounds like you will get in. Did you aplly anywhere else? Waiting is so hard!!!
  9. So did you apply for Fall also? I am worried because I do not have any experience in the field. So they probably fill the sheet out for us? Most schools base grades on Science and Maths, seems like GHC goes by more classes. I don't know if that is good or bad?
  10. Just wondering if anyone knows if getting accepted to GHC is still based on the application worksheet. I just sent in my application but they no longer require the app. worksheet. Does anyone know if they still use the totals on the worksheet or do they do it differently? Also, does anyone know if they have ever taken anyone who has a C? Or, what about the minimum GPA? Thanks for any info about GHC.
  11. I don't know. I am not sure exactly how it is weighted. GPA, NETscore, and number of completed classes?? Have you finished all of the pre-reqs? Sounds like you have a good chance with your GPA. Let me know if you hear something. Good Luck. Thanks.
  12. Does anyone know if you have an advantage to getting into the program if all of your pre-reqs are complete when you apply? I have finished all the required classes. My GPA is okay, and my NET score was not too great. I am just worried because it seems like most everyone does very well on the NET and has a very good GPA. Just trying to find out if I have any advantage. I am worried and driving myself crazy. Thanks for any input.
  13. Hey does anyone know if there is a way to find out if you have been accepted to GPC before letters are sent. I heard the status under student info changes (on the GPC website under student info). does anyone know about this? For example, when you apply it says pre-nursing under department. thanks.:icon_roll
