And the consequences for his illegal actions keep coming.  Real lawyers (not the hilarious ones Trump keeps getting to represent him) believe Donald J . Trump will spend some time in prison because of the crimes he has committed and he will spend a lot of money defending himself for the rest of his life because of the multiple civil and federal lawsuits already in the pipeline.  There  is not enough popcorn for this kind of entertainment!

I remain skeptical that there will be actual or meaningful accountability for Trump...this country is expert at giving wealthy or powerful people a pass.

I have watched a few interviews with Fani Willis the Fulton DA and I think she's extremely scary! She appears to be Stacy Abrams smart and Preet Boharra focused. Trump had better run for the hills, because between Fani and Leticia James, I think his goose is cooked. 

She's already appeared to have isolated everyone else from interfering by associating them with potential compromise and she's independently able to investigate this. With that call and the grand jury system set up the way it is, I can't see how he's not going to be indicted. And she doesn't appear to be someone who does things in halves or scares easily. 

I also think that this case has the potential to draw everyone in incl Trump's sons, Guiliani, Cruz, Hawley etc. This woman is very clever and very focused! 

And, can you imagine the evidence she can unearth with this case and how applicable it might be to other potential cases? Trump’s BP must be off the scale if he's human and truly understand the trouble he's in.

But the indoctrination is deep within the jury pool and the system favors the wealthy and powerful. I hope you are correct.

Hope so too. We need the catharsis. He has to be punished if this country is to heal. He represents all that is wrong and the symbolism of him facing the justice system will go a long way to discourage other would be miscreants, plus I would imagine many precedents re future abuse.

Provide that FBI announcement please. The impeachments were both damning and Trump is twice impeached.  Both impeachments correctly identified corrupt and dangerous behavior for a president.

Do you really think if any department had any thing absolute he committed any crime that it wouldn't be blasted off on every press media? On loop 24 hrs a day? 

He's unsavory person in his demeanor but he loved his country.  Do you think the Taliban would be having "press conferences " promising a "inclusive government" under Trumps watch? Lmao Americans abandoned, Afgan women and children abandoned?

I don't watch cable television, so I don't know what they might be blasting.  There is plenty of credible reporting about investigations into Trump and his businesses.  

I suspect that the answer to your question about why Trump isn't in jail has something to do with the justice system of a struggling republic that is functioning more as a capitalist oligarchy than a democracy.
